But who held that distinction in the years leading up to that infamous date? Would you believe it was none other than Edwin Booth, the brother of John Wilkes? It’s true! The brothers — plus their eldest brother, Junius Jr., and their sister, Asia, were the offspring of still another famed actor, Junius Brutus Booth.
