Chelsea Kerl makes her Commonwealth Shakespeare Company debut after freelancing in the Boston area for the past five years. Chelsea previously received her MFA in Costume Design from Boston University and earned degrees in both Theatre and English from the University of Maryland. Select recent credits include Warrior Class (Lyric Stage Company of Boston); Grand Concourse (SpeakEasy Stage Company) Intimate Exchanges and Emilie: The Marquise du Chatelet Defends Her Life Tonight (The Nora Theatre Company); Mrs. Packard (Bridge Repertory Theatre); Big Love and Leveling Up (Brandeis University); Man in Snow, A Measure of Normalcy, and Gloucester Blue (Gloucester Stage Company); Altar Boyz and Luna Gale (Stoneham Theatre); and The Little Prince and Assassins (New Repertory Theatre). Chelsea is also the Costume Shop Manager, Costume Designer, and Adjunct Costume Professor at Wellesley College, and the resident costume designer for Wellesley Repertory Theatre.
