PlayOn@CSC

The Actor’s Craft, Shakespeare Reimagined and Tempest Talks: Provocative, enlightening, entertaining, that’s PlayOn@CSC! The pandemic has forced us to cancel in-person performances, but we’re taking this opportunity to give our artists, audiences, and members of the community a chance to experience our work in totally new ways.

PlayOn@CSC comprises three series of digital programs that feature actor performances, live conversations, film screenings, and much more, giving you a unique behind-the-scenes look at how productions are put together, how actors bring their characters to life, and how filmmakers have used Shakespeare’s stories as a springboard to realize their own visions. We hope you’ll join us!

Shakespeare Reimagined: Bringing His Stories to the Screen

In partnership with the Coolidge Corner Theatre, we take an in-depth look at how filmmakers have reimagined Shakespeare’s timeless stories for today.
