Michael Keating

Earl of Northumberland, Servant to Exton.  Mr. Keating is a Partner at Foley Hoag LLP and is past Chairman of the firm’s Litigation Department.  He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and he has been the firm’s leading trial lawyer for over thirty years.  Mr. Keating practices extensively in both the federal and state courts.  He also has substantial experience in the commercial arbitration and mediation of disputes both as counsel and as an arbitrator/mediator. Mr. Keating is also an Instructor of Civil Trial Practice at Northeastern Law School and served as Chairman of the Massachusetts Court Management Advisory Board by appointment of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts, to advise the Supreme Judicial Court and the trial courts on court administration.  Mr. Keating currently serves as Chair of the Board of The Boston Foundation and is a past President of The Boston Bar Association.  He is a Trustee Emeritus of Williams College, his alma mater and a graduate of Harvard Law School.
